Meet the Contractors Making New York Homes More Energy Efficient and Comfortable

Watch how New York contractors make a New York multi-family apartment building more energy efficient by installing a newer, cleaner, and more reliable boiler. The contractors demonstrate what it takes to install a more energy efficient boiler and explain what it means for them to be helping their fellow New Yorker live a more comfortable life. The installation was provided by the Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation’s Weatherization Assistance Program, which helps residents save up to 50 percent on their heat and hot water each year. Funding for the program comes from the U.S. Department of Energy and Health & Human Services and is administered by NYS Homes & Community Renewal.
