Keeping Bradford Apartments Affordable through Energy Efficiency

Bradford Apartments was built in 1974. Outdated and inefficient building systems have caused high energy bills for residents. A grant from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development’s EmPOWER Multifamily Energy Efficiency and Housing Affordability program helped fund energy efficiency upgrades at the Bradford. The retrofit will save the residents of the Bradford a total of $56,000 per year.
