California Energy Shutoff Moratorium Extension Letter

This letter to Governor Newsom and the CA State Legislature strongly urges for the extension of the energy shutoff moratorium to January 31, 2022, for both IOU and POU customers. Such an extension further protects vulnerable populations while the implementation and distribution of arrearage relief for both IOUs and POUs can be executed equitably.
